The Millennium Madejski started out life with just one function room, but thanks to a redevelopment in the summer of 2008 the hotel gained a further two meeting and event facilities. They are named after some of the schools in Reading – the Abbey suite, the Kendrick suite and the Madejski suite, the latter of course named after Sir John himself.

The largest room is created when the Abbey and Kendrick suites are brought together. The rooms offer state-of-the-art facilities and as would be expected they are modern in style and design. The conference rooms can be set up in theatre, classroom, boardroom and u-shape layouts as the table below shows, along with capacities for each of these settings:
